Jameka Miles-Easterly is nurturing, compassionate and loving individual who began her career caring for the mentally challenged at the age of 17. She has remained closely connected to the medical field, providing insight and support to hospitals and personal care homes.
Jameka entered the world fighting from birth. Born prematurely (weighing just 4lbs), April 28, 1978, to parents, Mr. & Mrs. Richard and Lillian Martinez-Miles in Youngstown Ohio where she would be raised with her siblings (two older brothers, two younger sisters and an older sister who passed away at seven days old).
Emancipated at the age of 15 and leader by heart, Jameka took on many responsibilities for others, often neglecting herself and a life with Christ creating an internal darkness as young adult.
Jameka’s testimony comes with a great deal of struggle, heartache and pain as she has experienced neglect, molestation/rape and abandonment. She has overcome a failed marriage, insecurities, alcoholism, congestive heart failure and suicide attempts to thrive in the most challenging conditions. A mother of five adult children and one granddaughter (who affectionately refers to her as Nanna) residing in Atlanta GA.
Jameka, whose smile and personality uplifts others immediately enjoys prayer, worship along spreading and teaching the gospel.
Her life is a success story filled with determination and perseverance. Seeing the light by surrendering her life to GOD being delivered, renewed and restored!!!
